WEDDING PARTY

SOPHY Maid of Honor

She's seen my teenage angst, heard my incoherent rants, and persevered through my photography bootcamp. She's kind, patient, thoughtful, funny, and reliable. She's an incredible nurse and the best sister and friend anyone could ever ask for. She also refuses to give a speech but that's fine. 

SUMONA Bridesmaid

She's had the biggest influence on me during my young, impressionable years. Good thing she was a try hard because she rubbed off on me. We leave each other on read for months but she's one of those people that I will hold on to until I die. 

CHARMEE Bridesmaid

We had every single class together in high school and we also did tennis, so we were forced to tolerate each other. Jokes aside, she's the smartest, most sarcastic, down to earth person I know and she keeps me grounded through all my dumb thoughts and decisions. Also yes I asked her to homecoming. 

ANNIE Bridesmaid

We met as freshies in college. We ate ramen together as first years, grinded out study sessions as second years, and made each other tteokbokki as third years. We shared many tears, laughter, and moments of vulnerability. She knows me like a sister and is my number one supporter.

YEENA Bridesmaid

I hit her up in March 2021 before I moved to Baltimore as a fellow TFA Corps Member. Every time we go out, eat, and attend events together, she brings the party to the group and it's impossible not to have a good time. She made Baltimore exciting, spontaneous, and warm. 

CHRISTINE Bridesmaid

As a fellow high school ESOL teacher, we've shared lots of thoughts, struggles, and ideas together. She's in tune with the world around her and is always down for a good time. She got me into climbing and running which are now my two favorite hobbies. I want to be as cool as her when I grow up.

BELITA Bridesmaid

From the first time I talked to her at community group, I knew she was someone I wanted to keep close. She knows everything from my dating scene stories to the ups and downs of my relationship with Andrew, and played a critical part in executing the engagement plan by taking me to get my nails done. She's the kindest, most gentle person I know. 

RICHARD Best man

Ricardo is a childhood friend who I met back in preschool. We bonded our love for the same angsty teen music in middle school, but our relationship grew the strongest when we lived together in our apartment Lityards.

BRIAN Groomsman

I met Brian in undergrad, and we clicked over our love for basketball and food. He was someone who invited me to campus ministry meetings, his church’s saturday night bible study, and other church events. One of the most trustworthy guys I know!

ANDY Groomsman

My friendship with Andy is one of the greatest come back stories :D The Lord provided me with the opportunity to redeem our relationship through a weekly bible study. I still find pleasure in helping him experience extreme discomfort. 

SIMON Groomsman

Simon and I went to the same middle school, high school, and college. We even dormed together in good ole Elkton :D Simon and I bonded through our love for basketball, working out, guitar, and anime. 

DAVID Groomsman

Davey is another one of my preschool friends during the warehouse Philippi days. I remember us running outside together at church pretending we were characters from Lord of the Rings and Naruto doing ninja symbols.

STANLEY Groomsman

Stan is part of the preschool squad. We would spend a lot of time together growing up since our moms would do prayer nights together. Fun fact, he is the arm wrestling champion of Fest 2016.

JUSTIN Groomsman

Justin is definitely one of my most interesting friends :D I met him in middle school because our parents were in the same bible study. He is definitely one of the friends that I laughed the most with.

OFFICIANT

Pastor Dan led us in premarital counseling leading up to the wedding. We admire his kindness, patience, and devotion to his family and our church. 

MENTOR

Pastor Julius met with Andrew in the months leading up to the proposal and offered many words of wisdom, affirmations, and advice. He continues to be a huge part of our lives as our elder and friend. 

RING BEARER

Being Aunt and Uncle to Timmy is our biggest joy. He's always been a happy and smiley baby with lots of love to give. Timmy is an expert bubble blower, friend to all doggies, and the most likely to cut loose on the dance floor. 

FLOWER GIRL 

Sophie is the cutest girl and a big sister. Her smile can light up any room. She loves chips, pasta, and all things sweet. She will offer the first bite of her favorite food to her favorite people. We can see who during reception.
